Store Policies

We ship via Priority Mail on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only (no signature is required). Orders received after 10 AM eastern on Wednesday will ship the next Monday.  Expect delivery in 2-3 days. Unless we ship to a P. O. Box, someone must be available to bring in your package so it won't be left outside in order to qualify for the live guarantee. If no one will be home to accept delivery, please ship to a work address or friend's address. Phoenix Worms are not as fragile as many feeders but being left outside or riding for hours in a a hot or freezing mail truck can kill them.

The Phoenix Worm Store guarantees live delivery of your order. If your worms fail to arrive in good condition, we must be notified by email within 5 hours of delivery for free replacement (only one reship attempt per order). Send email to sheppard@phoenixworm.com with REPLACEMENT REQUEST typed in the subject line. The time of delivery will be solely determined by tracking and delivery confirmation information as posted on the USPS website. Replacement cups will ship for free along with customer's next paid order--they will not ship separately. Customers who write "Special Instructions" on their order will be accommodated if at all possible. However, please be aware that this will void the guarantee of live arrival as customer assumes risk!

We reserve the right to delay shipments when temperatures are extreme.
 
To help ensure live delivery, we may mark the package HOLD AT POST OFFICE for customer pick-up. Customer will be notified if this occurs and should contact their local postmaster immediately to advise that they will pick up the package upon arrival. If post office fails to hold a clearly marked package, any loss will not qualify for free replacement.

Customer will receive an email notice with package I.D. number for tracking when package ships.

After an order is accepted online, it is not possible to cancel the order.
